The Volunteer of the Year award aims to promote community volunteerism by recognizing outstanding volunteers in the Bennington community.

Eligibility Criteria

Anyone may be nominated who provides volunteer services to the broader Bennington Community. This includes volunteer work on behalf of Bennington families, civic organizations, sports clubs, churches, government entities, etc. The nominee does not have to reside within the city limits. ​​

The nominee's contributions must have occurred during the timeframe of November 1, 2020, and October 31, 2021.
Nomination forms must be received by Tuesday, Nov. 16.
A committee of Bennington Community Foundation board members will review the nominations and select a recipient. The award will be presented to the winner during Together Bennington Gives on November 30.
