About Us

The Bennington Community Foundation is a tax-exempt, public foundation that provides philanthropic services and leadership to the greater Bennington, Nebraska, community.​

Our Story

In 2005, a group of passionate community members came together to explore ways to sustain Bennington's small town character and charm while also promoting growth and opportunity. And so the Bennington Community Foundation was born. Since then, the Foundation has been spearheading community events and driving civic improvements.

Our Mission

While our community has changed dramatically over the past 17 years, our mission remains the same:  to build a better Bennington. We do this by inspiring giving, making impactful investments in local causes and organizations, and providing strategic leadership on community projects.
