Our Mission
The Bennington Community Foundation is a nonprifit charitable organization that represents the combined interests of both the community and the donor, serving to enhance the quality of life for area families.
Our Projects
Formed in 2005, the Bennington Community Foundation is dedicated to helping our community grow. We're the faces you see at the Bennington Daze BBQ, Golf Tournament and the Holiday Lighting Event. However, our work also includes initiating projects and supporting civic improvements. Some are very visible and some are the kind that you may not know about.
Our Future
Our work continues on several key projects to improve Bennington's resources for citizens of all ages: Library/Pool/Community Center, Pedestrian Bridge, Downtown Improvement, Bennington Pathways, etc.
Upcoming EventsMark your calendars. Bennington Daze will be June 15-17th 2012. The Bennington Community Foundation BBQ will be held that Friday night in Centennial Park at 5pm. Proceeds from the BBQ will be donated to the pedestrian bridge project.
Our annual golf tournament will be held on Saturday August 25th, 2012 at Pacific Springs. 2:00pm shotgun start.
